Kaye Berry is an energy reader.

with Mother Natures Emporium, 817 SW Adams, in Peoria. The shop sells everything from incense, herbs and loose leaf teas to
crystals and Pagan~inspired jewelry.
She also is the Reverend Berry, one of the board members of the Temple of The Phoenix, which represents Native American ~
Pagan religions.
I was born this way, but a lot of things I'm still learning. I used to see red in people, and I never understood what it meant
Years later, she understood that she was seeing cancer.
Like Flo, Berry says the hardest part is closing her mind to the extra sensory information. I used to freak my mom. Grandmas on
her way. Grandmas coming. Grandmas here. Her mom would answer, no shes not. And she then would be at the door. I just got
dirty looks from her.
When somebody comes within 3 feet of me, I know every past life, present life and future life, actually I read their own life
essence, the soul.
Sometimes Berry says, spirits are very insistent. Until she learned to turn off the mind to them, she said she would have trouble

Berry and a few others have been considering starting a 1-800 confessional line, but they haven't worked out all the details yet. I
get all kinds of messages from spirits who have passed on. But its not like I can go up to peoples houses and say so and so has a
message for you. But (spirits) can be very freaking insistent. We don't want to charge a lot, just enough to pay for the phone, secretary,
you know expenses.
Berry who charges $30 per reading, is not in it for the money. For one thing she can only do a max of 3 per week. All the money
she makes gets donated back to the Temple of The Phoenix.
It takes a lot of my energy to read people.
So, why doesn't she use her gift to enrich herself? I'm not a material person, and I feel that it would not be right. A past friend of
mine took me to the Paradise and I was curious. We hit the roulette table and kept on the colors. He left me alone as I jotted down the
colors before the wheel finalized its selection. Out of 18 I got 17 right. I never went back
